Joanne Hathaway, PMP, is a Senior Manager of Strategic R&D Innovation and AI Integration at Genmab, where she leads cross-functional initiatives focused on digital transformation, operational efficiency, and responsible AI adoption. With over a decade of experience in regulatory strategy, advertising and promotion (Ad/Promo) documentation, and stakeholder enablement, Joanne helps organizations navigate the intersection of emerging technology and compliance.

She previously held leadership roles at Otsuka Pharmaceuticals, where she played a key role in the company’s first electronic FDA Ad/Promo submission via eCTD and served as a liaison between regulatory and commercial functions. Joanne has authored industry publications in DIA Global Forum and Regulatory Focus, and her work bridges regulatory operations with evolving digital capabilities to help organizations adopt innovation without losing oversight.
